Bibliographical references

The short title form should be used in the single entries, e.g. Zabughin 1909-12, I, 75, both forms will be entered in the collective bibliography.

1) for monographs as in:

Zabughin 1909-12

V. Zabughin, Giulio Pomponio Leto. Saggio critico I-II (Grottaferrata 1909-12).

2) for monographs in a series as in:

Dykmans 1988

Marc Dykmans, L´Humanisme de Pierre Marso. Studi e testi 327 (Città del Vaticano 1988).

3) for articles in periodicals and books as in:

Bianchi 1980-81

Rossella Bianchi, "Due citazioni attribuite a Festo nel commento a Lucano di Pomponio Leto," Atti e memorie dell'Arcadia s. III, 7 (1980-81), 235-62.

4) for modern editions of primary sources as in:

Tortelli (ed.) 1998

Giovanni Tortelli, Roma Antica. Introduzione e commento a c. di Luisa Capoduro, RR Inedita (Roma 1998).

5) Classical Latin authors and works should be abbreviated according to the Thesaurus Linguae Latinae.

In the entries that are not editions of Latin texts, it will be useful if longer quotations in Greek or Latin are translated.
